The Need for a Criminal Defense Attorney

When the government brings criminal charges against a person, the accused faces a well-trained prosecutor in any court proceeding. Our state and federal constitutions both provide that the accused has the right to be represented by an attorney. TCCDLA believes that this is a critical right, and a person accused of a crime should seek representation from a lawyer who regularly practices criminal defense law. If you or someone near to you is in that situation, and you do not know a criminal defense attorney, visit our Membership Directory.
